WebApr 12, 2024 · 2/5: Not very good. About half the book seems to be fiction - the 'Devil' half - which makes it difficult to take any of it seriously as a nonfiction work. Larson's style is frustrating as well: he's in love with obvious reveals, and ends almost every chapter with a single sentence meant to add drama. It doesn’t work for me.
