Set an Explosive Trap at the doorway, set Hunter's Mark on Sever, got my mana back up to full, then set pet on Sever. Used Intimidation on him (he's immune to the stun, but the extra aggro on the pet is essential!), turned on Rapid Fire, and hit him with a Serpent Sting.
