WebAug 28, 2010 · Try some proper brake pipe spanners first (you will need these for my next suggested step), but if you still have no joy, it is safe to assume they are seized, and likely that the cylinders are in a poor condition internally. Replace the cylinders too, and then you will have fresh, clean nipples to work with (ooh err !!!). WebFeb 22, 2013 · If your brake fluid is "highly flammable" then surely that's only when exposed to both heat and air (the combustion triangle). On the basis that the nipple is seized and hence the fluid totally sealed in, I'd have thought a bit of heat should be OK, since the fluid is not being exposed to air.
